In-Store Demo: White Wine Tasting                          $50

Saturday, April 18, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

Geared toward a beginning wine drinker, this class will focus on white wines. We’ll taste six wines, identifying light-, medium- and heavy-bodied wines from both Old World (Europe) and New World (USA, Australia, South America) vintners. You’ll leave with handouts on major white wine-producing regions to help you navigate a wine list or wine store more successfully. Please note: Sign up for all three wine classes at the same time and save 15% on all three.

In-Store Demo: Spring Fish Dinner                           $75

Saturday, May 2, 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Spring vegetables like asparagus and peas are the perfect complement to fresh fish, in particular a quick-to-prepare branzino or trout. In this demo, Chef Laura will show how to make a quick Chilled Pea Soup as a first course, followed by a demo on filleting a whole round fish and serving it with Spring Vegetable Ragout of asparagus, mushrooms and new potatoes with a sautéed fish fillet. Demo also includes all recipes and a wine pairing. This demo class is limited to 6.

 

In-Store Demo: Red Wine Tasting                              $50

Saturday, May 16, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

In-Store Demo: Basic Bread Baking                          $50

Saturday, June 6, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

We’ll discuss and demonstrate the basics of making bread dough and make grissini, the thin Italian breadsticks, and the astonishingly easy “No-Knead Bread,” baked in a Dutch oven. Demo also includes all recipes and a wine pairing. This demo class is limited to 6.

 

In-Store Demo: Seafood Paella Dinner                   $75

Saturday, July 11, 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Paella is a perfect summer dish that can be made on the stovetop or the grill. We’ll show you how make a chilled summer soup as a first course, and then we’ll cook and eat a sizzling seafood paella of shrimp, shellfish and spicy sausage and rice. Demo also includes all recipes and a wine pairing. This demo class is limited to 6.

The Perfect Pear Class Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds for classes.
If you are unable to attend a class and can provide notice
by Noon on the Wednesday before the class, we will credit half (50%) 
of the purchase price toward an in-store credit to be used in the shop
or against another class purchase.

In the event we must cancel a class due to weather or lack of participation, 
we will provide a full refund.
